I ordered the Christmas dinner from Wetherspoons… it was just £15.50 but my favourite part was missing
A DAD who ordered a Wetherspoons' Christmas dinner says the meal was just £15.50 - but it was missing his favourite part.
Lee Davey tried the festive feast at one of Blackpool's pubs, and while he said it was "tasty" there was one thing he was left yearning for.
The Nottingham dad, who goes by on social media, ordered the Turkey Chrismas Meal alongside fellow YouTube user Stephen.
Lee said it was made up of four slices of turkey breast, a sweet port, apricot and cranberry stuffing, roast carrots and parsnips, mashed potatoes, peas and pigs in blankets - then topped with cranberry sauce and gravy.
He said in his latest clip: "That sounds like a proper Christmas dinner - a proper Christmas feast."
Lee and Stephen also ordered a beer with their meals at the Velvet Coaster and it came to a total of £31 - £15.50 each.

And while then men thought overall the feast was tasty, they said it was missing one thing - brussels sprouts.
The dad said: "I'm going to tell you now, I'm actually quite enjoying this and I know it's obviously frozen stuff and processed stuff but it's not too bad - it's quite tasty."
He then pointed out what he wanted most on the plate - rating it a 7.4/10 - and Stephen agreed.
The Blackpool man, who posts on his own social media A Walk on the Wild Said, said: "I could have eaten a bit more - there could have been a bit more to it.

"I think I would go maybe 7.5. I might have gone a little bit more than that if it had some sprouts because I love sprouts me - I just think it was missing."
Lee then echoed that the plate was indeed missing sprouts.
It comes after a man said he visited the UK's most notorious Wetherspoon for his favourite meal - but also saw his first bar fight.
The Square Peg in Birmingham has been repeatedly dubbed the "worst pub" in the Black Country - with more than 118 of bad reviews on TripAdvisor.
But after just a few minutes inside the man said how he witnessed a brawl between staff and another customer who blasted: “I’ll smash your f***ing face in!”
He told : "I’d only been sat in for a couple of minutes before things started to kick off.
"The sight of a man getting dragged out by his collar, throwing aimless punches at a member of staff was still a shock at 1pm on a Wednesday afternoon.
"This is, of course, the most notorious Wetherspoon in the city."
The chain revealed earlier this month that its festive menu was returning.
