These beloved sweets have disappeared from UK shelves over the years, but the nostalgia remains.

Celebrations - Galaxy Truffle

A mainstay of the popular mixed box, the Galaxy Truffle was a velvety delight.

It lasted from the brand's launch in 1997 right up until 2011, but has not featured since.

That's likely to enrage some given the continued presence of the ever-controversial Bounty.

Amazin' Raisin

This fruity treat was a favourite from Cadbury back in the 1970s.

It was similar to a fruit and nut bar, only without the nuts and with caramel and nougat added.

However, it was only available between 1971 and 1978 and is almost impossible to get hold of today.

Quality Street Scrapped

The iconic sharer box has been a Christmas favourite for decades, but has seen a carousel of different flavours rotate in and out.

Enthusiasts still pine for classics like the Hazelnut Eclair, Chocolate Nut Toffee Cream and Fig Fancy.

Unfortunately, all have since faded out of the lineup.

Quality Substitutes

Not only have some beloved Quality Street flavours been discontinued, but many have been replaced by updated versions.

The Chocolate Strawberry Cream made way for the Strawberry delight, while even the legendary 'Purple One' made the switch from its original Brazil nut to a hazelnut alternative.

Launched in 1967, the Aztec was an exotic blend of chocolate, nougatine and caramel, dubbed Cadbury's answer to the Mars Bar.

Unfortunately for fans, it was scrapped in 1978 and its dark purple packaging vanished from shelves.

Cad-ifornia Dreamin'

One of the most beloved confections in British history, the Cadbury Dream was an all-white chocolate form of the Dairy Milk, similar to Nestle's Milky Bar.

It took the nation by storm in 2002 before being discontinued, though it is still going in Australia.

There was a relaunch in 2019 under the name Cadbury White, much to the delight of chocolate lovers, but this was sadly short lived.

With a tempting mixture of smooth chocolate and hazelnut praline, the KitKat Senses bar is one of the most requested for a comeback.

It went wild in 2009, but soon after was lost to the mists of time.

KitKat has produced a new Senses range since 2019, with flavours including cookie dough, but none are the original recipe.
