‘Great discounts’ gone as outdoor store with 100 branches to shut high street location – but there’s still hope
OUTDOORS supplier Blacks will close one of its branches after months of incredible discounts.
The alfresco outfitters will shut its Tamworth site for refurbishments early next year, The Sun understands.
Blacks has not confirmed when the Ventura Retail Park store - integrated with JD Sports - will reopen.
It comes after shoppers praised "great value" sales items including a £7 sleeping bag at the Staffordshire site.
One added: "New waterproof jacket and emergency poncho for less than £35."
A second chimed: "Great staff great product. Great sale prices."

Blacks - founded in 1861 - has around 69 branches across the UK.
Its own brands include household names Peter Storm, Eurohike and Technicals.
For years the cagoule-selling retailer weathered huge financial storms and dozens of its high street stores were forced to shut.

The closures saw Brits enjoy sale offers of up to 70 percent off everything.
Blacks was bought by JD Sports in 2012 and made debt free before being merged with ailing outward bound retailer Millets.
Blacks did not respond for comment.
