Spice Girls stamps – Royal Mail unveils new collection featuring iconic group
THE Spice Girls feature on a collection of stamps to celebrate their 30th anniversary.
One of the 15 stamps shows them at the 1997 Brit Awards.
The Spice Girls are only the sixth music group to feature in a dedicated stamp issue, following on from The Beatles in 2007, Pink Floyd in 2016, Queen in 2020, The Rolling Stones in 2022 and Iron Maiden in 2023.
And they are the first girl band to be celebrated by Royal Mail.
Geri Horner, Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Mel C said: “That’s Girl Power!”
The Spice Girls got their first No1 hit with Wannabe, which released on July 20, 1996.
