M&S shoppers scream ‘yes please’ as they spot new giant chocolate bar on store shelves

But you may need to head to several stores to track one down

SHOPPERS are racing to M&S for a ‘yummy’ new chocolate bar which is sure to stop your New Year diet plans in their tracks. 

M&S have released a new orange-flavoured giant Whippy Dippy bar and shoppers say they can’t wait to try it.

The giant Whippy Dippy isn’t new to M&S but it usually makes appearances around holidays like Easter and Valentine's Day

But this is the first time shoppers have been able to get their hands on an orange-flavoured version of the popular chocolate. 

Each piece of the milk chocolate bar is shaped like a rounded cone and is filled with marshmallows and topped with orange-flavoured sauce.

The find was shared in the Newfoodsuk group on Facebook

The account said: "Giant Whippy Dippy Bar spotted at M&S!”

The post racked up over 500 likes and 162 comments with food lovers saying they were excited to try the new bar. 

One user said: “This is my kind of treat.”

Another said: "Looks yummy.”

“Yes please,” said a third user.

Someone else said: “That looks lush.”

It doesn’t look like this bar is available online so you will need to head in stores to get one. 

Bear in mind prices may vary from branch to branch.

Sainsbury's sell Soft & Whippy Chocolate Bars for £1.

Meanwhile, Morrisons do a Skinny Whip Chocolate Orange for £1.15.

How to save money at M&S

M&S generally reduces prices on its products once in the morning and twice in the afternoon, at 9am and between 2pm and 4pm.

One savvy shopper told us the first wave takes place around 9am, where some items may be reduced by 10%.

The final wave of reductions happens after 4pm, when products are reduced between 70% and 90%.

Don't forget to look out for red stickers which indicate a bargain find in M&S.
