The likes of BBQ Beef, Beef and Onion, and Builder's Breakfast were all discontinued despite their popularity.

But one flavour, in particular, has been hard to let go for many crisps fans.

Walkers' Worcester Sauce flavour was axed for good back in October for unknown reasons.

Shoppers had begun to notice it's lack of presence on shop shelves for a while, prompting some to start asking questions.

Walkers were eventually forced to confirm that Worcester Sauce was officially no longer part of their range.

But crisps lovers are still finding the decision hard to come to terms with.

In response to Walkers asking for suggestions for things to bring back in 2024, one social media user said: "Bring back worcestershire sauce crisps."

However, they were met with a damning reply.

"I hope we can move past this one day," the crisp company's X (formerly Twitter) account snapped back.

The response proved to be the final nail in the coffin for fans as it all but confirmed there will be no happy return for Worcester Sauce crisps.

However, the X user refused to back down as hit back with: "I'll never let go."

A fellow crisp lover sympathised with them, saying: "I feel your pain, salt and vinegar monster munch were cruelly snatched away from me…"

In November, Walkers fans were left devastated once more as the crisps giant confirmed another beloved flavour wouldn't be seen on shelves ever again.

The snack maker apologised to a Walkers lover who said she could not find her favourite Max Fiercely Flamin Hot crisps anywhere.

However, there was some good news that left shoppers rushing to buy new limited edition flavour Walkers crisps spotted in supermarkets.

Walkers has released three new vegan limited edition flavours just in time for Veganuary.
