Tesco shoppers scramble to buy HUGE Galaxy bars slashed to just £2 in time for Mother’s Day – but there’s a catch
SHOPPERS are scrambling to buy gigantic Galaxy bars that have been slashed ahead of Mother's Day.
The fan favourite Galaxy Smooth Milk bar has had its price halved in Tesco stores across the UK.
One savvy customer took to a bargains and couponing page on Facebook to share the news.
The user posted a picture of the deal alongside the caption: "Tesco big 360g bars of galaxy chocolate."
The post has since amassed hundreds of likes and hundreds more comments from equally excited chocolate fans.
One shopper wrote: "Be perfect for Mother’s Day present."

Another said: "Better than Easter eggs...way more choccy for your money."
Dozens more tagged their friends and family begging them to keep and eye out and purchase the goods for them.
While one user decried: "The price difference with a club card. Is an absolute disgrace."
If you're hoping to nab one of these giant bars it is important to note that the deal is only open to Tesco Clubcard holders.
And remember that stock will be limited from store to store and some might not have the chocolates for the same discounted price.
What can I get with Tesco Clubcard?
TESCO'S Clubcard scheme allows shoppers to earn points as they shop.
These points can then be turned into vouchers for money off food at the supermarket, or discounts at other places like restaurants and days out.
Each time you spend £1 in-store and online, you get one point when you scan your Clubcard.
Drivers using the loyalty card get one point for every two litres spent on fuel.
One point equals 1p, so 150 points gets you a £1.50 money-off voucher, for example.
You can double their worth when you swap them for discounts with "reward partners".
For example, £12 worth of vouchers can be swapped for a £24 three-month subscription to Disney+.
Or you can swap 50p worth of points for £1 to spend at Hungry Horse pubs.
Where you can spend them changes regularly, and you can check on the Tesco website what's available now.
Tesco shoppers can also get Clubcard prices when they have the loyalty card.
The discounted items change regularly and without a Clubcard you'll pay a higher price.
These Clubcard prices are usually labelled on shelves, along with the non-member price.
But it's worth noting that just because it's discounted doesn't necessarily make it the cheapest around, and you should compare prices to find the best deal.
You can sign up to get a Tesco Clubcard in store or online via the Tesco website.
The news comes after the retailer left customers fuming over a major change that has cost them Clubcard points.
Tesco recently axed a survey site that rewarded customers with Clubcard points and a chance to win a £1,000 voucher.
In-store shoppers used to be given receipts urging them to visit tescoviews.com, to be in with the chance of winning a gift card, as well as earning an extra 25 Clubcard points.
But this week disappointed shoppers noticed that the retailer is no longer accepting survey responses through the site.
A notice at the address says it is instead reaching out directly to customers for their opinions, and it’s understood this will now be done via email.
Shoppers get one point for every £1 spent while using their Clubcard, although sometimes there are double points offered.
Each Clubcard point is worth 1p to spend at Tesco, so 500 points is equivalent to £5 cash.
