SHOPPERS have been left rolling with laughter after noticing a major supermarket has mislabeled some of its discounted food products.

The Asda rewards app showed the clearly incorrect price on one of its Star Products and shoppers found the error hilariously comical.

On the Asda app, Wagyu XL burgers were displaying as a jar of Kraft mayonnaise instead of the burgers.

Likewise, Rowntree’s fruit pastilles ice lollies were displayed as a big bag of Aunt Bessie Yorkshire puddings.

One shopper took to Facebook to share some of the errors she spotted whilst scrolling the app on her phone.

She asked: “Wonder if Asda has noticed.”

The post racked up several hundred likes and comments and it’s left shoppers rolling with laughter.

One user said: “There's quite a few things mislabelled on there.”

Another said: “I saw these on Thursday, made me laugh.”

“Loads of mine are wrong,” said a third user.

ASDA can no longer claim to be the cheapest fuel retailer — after choosing to rake in bigger profits.

“Someone’s definitely been sacked,” joked someone else.

It's not clear whether the mislabelled items have had their prices affected at checkout.

The Sun has reached out to Asda for comment and to see if the issue has now been resolved.

Earlier this year the retailer experienced another issue with its Asda rewards scheme.

Asda shoppers were urged in February to check their receipts following confusion over its loyalty scheme.

The retailer was not allowing shoppers on the Rewards scheme to process vouchers or scan rewards.

The incident shoppers left baffled after discovering they can't redeem their loyalty points at Asda's smaller Express stores.

Asda confirmed the loyalty scheme is unavailable at Express stores as it operates under a different tech platform.

In other news, Asda shoppers have rushed to fill their baskets with a bizarre fruit that "tastes like white chocolate".

Rose strawberries have caused a stir among shoppers who have been left impressed by the unusual flavour.

A bargain hunter has revealed the best time to bag yellow sticker bargains in supermarkets.

Asda shoppers should be on the lookout for bargains in the morning, so set your alarm clocks.
