MCDONALD'S is shaking up its menu this week - and you can get your hands on a new iced drink based on an iconic flavour.

The fast food chain is adding seven items to its offering on Wednesday (April 17) with some favourites making a comeback.

A new Lotus Biscoff Frappe will no doubt turn sweet-toothed fans' heads though.

The popular flavour will also feature as a McFlurry, which made its first appearance on menus last year.

Also new are the Cheese and Herb Melts, ideal for a quick snack.

The Chicken Big Mac is making a comeback after landing on UK shores for the first time in 2022.

The deluxe Quarter Pounder will be available once again, as well as the Galaxy Caramel Pie first seen in December, and Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry.

The menu shake up is only in place for six weeks, so if you're keen to try one of the seven fresh items, you'll have to be quick.

McDonald's regularly mixes up its offering to keep customers on their toes.

Anyone looking to snap one of the Biscoff Frappes will have to fork out £2.99 while the McFlurry will set you back £1.99.

The Frappe has a vanilla flavour base, blended with ice and Biscoff crumb all topped with caramel-flavoured cream and crumb dusting.

The McFlurry combines the same flavours, with a Biscoff crumb swirled on top of soft-serve ice cream.

McDonald's release their Easter menu treats including Hot Cross Bun pie

Coming back for a fourth time is the sell-out Chicken Big Mac, which first launched down under in Australia.

It's a twist on the classic Big Mac with a triple-layered bun, two chicken patties, slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles and Big Mac sauce.

It costs £4.69 as a single item and £6.49 as a meal.

The new Cheese and Herb melts will set you back £2.89 for a box of five or £7.09 for a larger sharebox.

How to save money at McDonald's

You might not think it, but you can end up being charged more solely based on the McDonald's restaurant you choose.

Research by The Sun found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30p cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.

Meanwhile, you can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 by filling in a feedback survey found on any old McDonald's receipt.

The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.

You'll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.
