FLASH sales have landed with a bang on the shopping scene.
These blink-and-you-miss-it promotions can offer great savings.
Here’s how to get yourself the best bargains . . .
DAILY DEALS: Mark your calendar with sales for different days of the week.
Boots offers £10 Tuesdays, with best-selling brands reduced to £10 for 24 hours.
Asda offers “mega event price drops” from Thursdays to Sundays, with up to 50 per cent off.
Lidl’s Middle of Lidl and Aldi’s Specialbuys arrive on Thursdays and Sundays, with good buys available while stocks last.
Over-60s can get extra deals, too, with Iceland offering ten per cent off every Tuesday with a free bonus card.
Until 1pm on the first Wednesday of the month, The Original Factory Shop also gives over-60s with a TOFS Club card an extra ten per cent off.
BANK HOLIDAY BARGAINS: With the May bank holiday weekends on the horizon, stand by for a deluge of flash sales.
Most big retailers have yet to announce offers, but garden deals are a perennial favourite at this time of year.
Other online stores tag their sales to bank holidays, too.
If you’re inviting a crowd over, site is offering 20 per cent off from 9am to midnight on Sunday, May 5.
