Ed Sheeran has launched a hot sauce range called Tingly Ted’s after making known his love of Heinz Tomato Ketchup

Ed Sheeran’s tingly sauce was spotted at B&M for a bargain price

The discount was discovered by a savvy shopper who shared it on a Facebook group.

They posted a picture of two bottles, which they got for less than a quid, and described it as “lovely”.

Reacting to the post, one excited fan said: “I love Ed Sheeran‘s sauce.”

Other shoppers say the same sauce is selling for £3 at Asda, Iceland and Sainsbury’s.

One person wrote: “Saw this in Iceland yesterday. It was about £2.60 what a rip off!”

Another one added: “Got mine from co-op yellow stickered to 30p each, they were charging £3 full price.”

As a big ketchup fan, Ed Sheeran has starred in an advert for Heinz and had a bottle of the red stuff tattooed on his arm.

And the singer took a dip into the world of condiments by bringing his own range of sauces for the fans to try.

The Shape of You singer, 33, has come up with a spicy range called Tingly Ted’s, based on his childhood nickname — Teddy.

The sauce comes in medium and hot levels – depending on your tolerance.

The website describes it as “spicy enough to tingle your tongue, but not spicy enough to reach out for milk”.

HUGE singer swaps stadium gigs for job in Starbucks as he shocks customers

The ingredients listed include red jalapeno peppers mixed with spices and herbs combined with fresh lemon notes and smoky flavour.

Ed said of Tingly Ted’s: “There isn’t anything they don’t go with — except bananas.

“I love sauces, that’s no secret.

“But the older I’ve got, the more I love and need spice with every single meal.

“I travel a lot, so having a bottle in my suitcase wherever I go that can spice up any and every meal seemed like a good idea.

“I knew I didn’t want to do a watery hot sauce, as they usually all get relegated to the same shelf of other random hot sauces.

“I wanted to make a sauce that took the same pride of place as ketchup.”

This isn’t the first time the pop star made a surprising career move as he seemed to have swapped stadium gigs for a job in Starbucks.

The singer shocked customers as he was spotted serving Pumpkin Spice Lattes in Seattle.

In other condiment news, a viral exclusive Heinz sauce, made in collaboration with a legendary chicken shop, has finally hit supermarket shelves due to popular demand.
