B&M slashes price of gadget ‘perfect for garden’ from £69 to £20 as shoppers cry ‘I want one’

B&M has drastically cut the price of a gadget which shoppers say is “perfect for the garden”.
The popular discount store is currently selling a Goodmans “mini projector” for just £20, with the usual retail price being £69.
A bargain hunter recently spotted the deal and went onto the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group of Facebook to share the news.
They wrote: “Scanned through the till & on the app at £20!!”
The post was a big hit with other savvy shoppers who were excited by the prospect of snapping up a deal.
One person simply wrote “I want one,” and tagged a couple of friends too.
Another, who also tagged a pal, said: “Good for garden.”
While a third added: “This is what I’ve been dying for.”
A fourth posted: “Bargain.”
Elsewhere, other shoppers with an eye for a good deal have been racing to their nearest Dunelm to get their hands on a household staple scanning at tills at slashed prices.
The bargain retailer is selling Elements 30-litre Slim Bin for just £12.50.
And shoppers are rushing to fill their baskets with soft furnishings massively discounted from £185 to just £17.
Argos is currently selling from as little as £20, or ones which are fully-lined from £40.
The Mill Shop, which is also having a sale, has "" for £9, down from the usual price of £36.
Prices of Marks & Spencer appear to start at £30.
One of Ikea's best-selling curtains, the , currently costs just £12.
B&M's garden centres currently have a whole host of bargains on offer.
For example, the tropical retreat curve plants have been reduced from £20 to £6 and B&M decorative plant feeder is not just £1.
Shoppers have saved hundreds of pounds a year by using B&M's scanner app.
The scanner lets you see if an item's price is cheaper than advertised on the shop floor label.
Products that are typically discounted are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to shift.
According to one ex-B&M manager, you'll want to visit your local branch at 10am on a Wednesday too.
The Chillmax Go Fan is on sale at most other retailers for £18 or more, but B&M has it in stock for £5 instead of £20.
The discount retailer was originally selling Surf Limited Edition Winter Indulgence Vanilla & Oud Liquid Detergent for £2.99 but has now reduced it by a whopping 96 per cent.

Meanwhile, Aldi shoppers can get ready for the warm weather thanks to the discount supermarket's with the return of its Garden Get Together range available from May 16.
Shoppers can pick up all the essentials for hosting a garden party, including BBQs, cocktail shakers, folding recliners and solar lights to decorate the outdoor space for summer hosting.
According to Aldi, prices will be starting from just £2.99, available in stores next week.
