I scooped £83k on People’s Postcode Lottery but I’m convinced I’ll lose it all… we’ve been sent bad omens
A LUCKY mum has told how she won £83,000 on the People's Postcode lottery - but is terrified she could lose it all.
Georgina Riley, 39, a university events coordinator, revealed her shower had fallen off the wall the night before her street in Newthorpe, Nottinghamshire won the jackpot.
Despite her initial elation at the windfall, she admitted: "It feels surreal, I was waiting for Ant and Dec to leap out and say that this isn't real."
Signs of trouble didn't stop there.
"I do get weird feelings," she confessed. "The Northern Lights were over my house on my birthday, and now I've won the lottery."
She added: "The shower fell off the wall last night. Paul's convinced I pulled it off, but I didn't pull it off."

Georgina revealed the stress-induced chaos leading up to her "surreal" win.
She said: "I changed my outfit four times this morning, I haven't eaten anything, and I almost fainted on the doorstep. Then I realised I hadn't done my nails. It's all been very stressful.
"Paul wants a new car, and my son would like a new pair of trainers. My daughter wants a pot for her earrings. I'd like a new bathroom. The shower fell off the wall last night."
Despite the dark clouds looming over her newfound fortune, Georgina maintained a brave face and laughed off her worries.
She said: "I'd quite like a ride-on lawnmower."
And she'll be going on a family holiday to Dubai, where she'd now "swim with Dolphins, go up the Burj Khalifa, dine at a Michelin-star restaurant" and even rent a yacht.
Down the road, grandma Diane told how she and her husband Paul will be converting his works van into a camper.
She added: "We like local festivals and things. We've always done camping. Now that Paul's semi-retired we're doing up the van so that it can still be a works van and a campervan."
Georgina is one of the 10 neighbours who won the weekly Millionaire Street prize, with each ticket worth £83,333 and one lucky player banking £166,666 after playing with two tickets.
It comes as a lotto winner revealed he deleted his winners' email after thinking it was a scam.
And a couple who won £1 million on a Euromillions jackpot opened up about how they turned their quirky hobby into an "empire".
