As with all major prizes, the Lotto jackpot prize claim will now go through the process of validation.

Subject to validation the prize will then be paid at an appointment with one of Allwyn's Winners' Advisers.

"This ticket-holder was certainly keeping us on our toes by waiting a few days before coming forward, but now they have made their claim the possibilities for this lucky ticket-holder with a whopping £11.4million in their bank account are endless!

HOW TO PLAY

Players can buy and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk.

They can also buy and check tickets face-to-face in stores.

You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you're a winner.
