A MASSIVE National Lottery jackpot of more than £11million has been claimed by a single ticket holder today.
Operator Allwyn confirmed it has received a claim for the £11,449,068 prize won in the Lotto 'Must Be Won' draw on June 8.
As with all major prizes, the Lotto jackpot prize claim will now go through the process of validation.
Subject to validation the prize will then be paid at an appointment with one of Allwyn's Winners' Advisers.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners' Advisor at The National Lottery, said, "We're so excited that this incredible Lotto jackpot prize has now been claimed.
"This ticket-holder was certainly keeping us on our toes by waiting a few days before coming forward, but now they have made their claim the possibilities for this lucky ticket-holder with a whopping £11.4million in their bank account are endless!

"Three Lotto players have already become millionaires this month and, who knows, with a £3.9million jackpot up for grabs on Saturday (15 June) we could soon be welcoming another Lotto millionaire into the club.
"We will now focus on supporting this latest Lotto jackpot-winning ticket-holder through the process and helping them start to enjoy their truly life-changing win."
There have been a further two £1million winners created this month - in draws on June 5 and 8.
The next Lotto draw is on June 15 with an estimated £3.9million up for grabs.

Players can buy and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk.
They can also buy and check tickets face-to-face in stores.
Playing online via the app or website means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize.
You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you're a winner.
