IF you need some ideas for summer holiday activities, see what is on offer at the shops.
Whether your kids love crafting, caring for animals or doing some gardening, there is an in-store workshop they will love.
Here is our pick of the best free activities that will give you and your bank balance a break.
GOOD TO GROW: As well as its regular monthly workshop for kids, Dobbies garden centre is hosting a Little Seedlings Holiday Club.
Children aged four to ten will learn about beautiful butterflies and get the chance to make their own butterfly-friendly garden.
The Scottish and Northern Ireland stores will be opening the club from July 22 to 26, and at the Wales and England stores, it will be held from August 12 to 16.
