Cheez-It Snap'd are launching in the UK soon

The thin and crispy snack is baked with 100 per cent real cheese, and has a uniquely curved shape which gives it a satisfying crunch.

Cheez-It Snap'd will launch in the UK in three flavours, and hopes to become as popular as Pringles.

It previously launched in the US in 2019 as a spin-off product of Cheez-Its, which are small flat crackers.

The Snap'd range comes in three flavours: double cheese, cheese & chilli, and cheese, sour cream & onion.

The double cheese flavour packs a deliciously cheese punch, whereas if you're looking for a spicy kick, cheese & chilli is the flavour to try.

Cheese, sour cream & onion is the perfect moreish mix of tangy and savoury.

Cheez-It will be available nationwide from August 1 from all major UK stockists and the products have been “tweaked for European tastebuds”, the brand said.

They will be available to buy as multipacks, as well as single bags.

A 40g pack will cost £1.09, a 65g is priced at £1.25 and 150g sharing bags are priced at £2.00, though shops can set their own prices.

Cheez-It original crackers were first introduced by the Green & Green Company in the US over 100 years ago, in 1921.

Chris Silcock, managing director at Kellanova, the company behind Cheez-It, said: "We’re absolutely thrilled to bring Cheez-It to this side of the Atlantic.

"We know the UK’s a nation of cheese lovers, and as this snack is baked with 100% real cheese, the only thing people won’t love is that it didn’t come to the UK sooner.”

A New Bite: The Revamped Flavour of Walkers Monster Munch

Cheez-It is just one of many American food brands to cross the pond to the UK.

Dave's Hot Chicken has announced plans to open 60 restaurants across the UK and Ireland.

This expansion follows the successful launch of US favourites Popeyes and the imminent launch of Chick-fil-A in the UK.

Dave's Hot Chicken is known in the US for its jumbo hot chicken sliders, tenders, and bites.

The brand also offers sides like house-made kale slaw, creamy mac and cheese, and crispy, seasoned french fries.

The chain's chicken is available in seven spice levels, from no spice to reaper, the latter of which requires a signed waiver due to its intense heat.

In addition, hungry Brits were thrilled to learn Popeyes UK will be rolling out their 50th branch amid exciting menu changes and tasty twists on traditional dishes.

It's marks the 18th opening this year alone, with 15 more set on the cards.

What is Chick-fil-A?

CHICK-FIL-A is an American fast food restaurant specialising in chicken sandwiches.

The eatery was originally founded in College Park, Georgia as the Dwarf Grill in 1946 before it was eventually renamed Chick-Fil-A in 1967.

The fast food chain operates more than 3,000 restaurants, primarily in the US, with locations in 48 states.

They also have locations in Puerto Rico and Canada.

Chick-fil-A also offers catering services for parties and events within the US.

The brand has always closed on Sundays after its founder, Truett Cathy, took the decision to do so in 1946.

Having worked seven days a week in restaurants open 24 hours, Truett saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and his employees could set aside one day to rest, enjoy time with their families and loved ones, or worship if they chose.

The move to open in the UK comes after Chick-fil-A opened a temporary pop-up branch in Reading in 2019.

However, the town centre restaurant shut after its six-month lease expired in 2020.

It came after controversy around comments by the company's then-chief executive, Dan Cathy, opposing same-sex marriage.

While we don't know where Chick-fil-A plans to open its new UK restaurants just yet, the company told The Sun that they will be strategically located across the UK to give everyone access to the brand.

Like in the US, restaurants in the UK will be closed on Sunday.

The chain's most popular menu items, including the original Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich, nuggets, waffle fries, and spicy deluxe chicken sandwich, will all appear on UK high streets in 2025.

Now the industry giant is welcoming their New Orleans menu, amid a string of imminent planned openings scattered across the UK.

Popeyes came across the pond in 2021 and has proved to be a hit with ravenous customers ever since.

They see 125,000 of their iconic Shatter Crunch Chicken Sandwiches cooked and enjoyed by satisfied customers each week.

And, within the next few months the company will also be cutting the ribbon on their first ever Belfast site, in Northern Ireland.

Plans for several more branches will see 2,000 more jobs created in their local communities, according to the fast-food chain.

Tom Crowley, boss at Popeyes UK said the demand for Popeyes in the UK "is incredible, but not unexpected".

"We've seen overnight queues for almost every opening since our UK launch in 2021, with fried chicken fans turning up to queue over 24 hours before the opening of new Popeyes restaurants.
