Chocolate lovers are rushing to Iceland for a new treat

The supermarket is now stocking Cadbury strawberry bites

The delicious new bites feature Cadbury’s classic creamy Dairy Milk chocolate, but with an irresistible twist – a smooth, flowing strawberry-flavoured centre that’s making fans go wild.

And the best part – these heavenly bites are reduced to just £1.50 for a 142g bag, down from £3.

That’s right, a bargain that’s too good to miss, and shoppers are clearing the shelves in a mad rush to get their hands on them.

The chocs are rarely on shelves in the UK but are a regular over in Australia.

They are made form Cadbury’s classic Dairy Milk chocolate and have a strawberry flavoured gooey centre.

Social media is buzzing with excitement as chocoholics across the UK share their delight over the rare find.

One thrilled shopper shared a snap of the strawberry bites on the popular Newfoodsuk Facebook group, and it didn’t take long for the post to blow up with comments.

Caroline Martin, a self-confessed chocoholic, couldn’t contain her excitement, tagging her friend and simply writing: “Yum!”

Another user chimed in, saying, “I need these in my life, now!”

While a third added: “I’m heading to Iceland right after work, who’s coming with me?”

Cadbury Ireland announce arrival of two new bars

It seems the strawberry bites are not listed online, so you’ll have to venture in-store if you want to taste this dreamy chocolate creation.

You can find your nearest branch using the store locator tool on the Iceland website.

But remember stock may be limited, so it’s worth calling ahead to save a wasted journey.

With shelves being cleared at lightning speed, there’s no time to waste if you want to get your hands on these indulgent treats.

The treats were first spotted on shelves at the supermarket in May, along with Cadbury Caramilk Twirl bites.

The Caramilk flavour is a golden caramel flavour choc, first made famous by the Caramac bar.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Cadbury experimenting with new flavours.

The Strawberry Bites were previously spotted at B&M back in 2020, priced at £2.99 a pack.

But with Iceland slashing the price to just £1.50, it’s no wonder chocoholics are flocking to the freezer aisles.

As fans savour the sweet taste of strawberry-filled goodness, it comes on the heels of another exciting Cadbury launch – the Cadbury Caramilk Twirl Bites.

These caramelised white chocolate Twirl pieces have also been a massive hit, with many shoppers unable to decide which new flavour they love more.

But it’s not all good news in the world of Cadbury.

Just last month, the chocolate giant broke hearts by discontinuing the much-loved Dairy Milk Orange bar, leaving fans devastated.

However, with these new Strawberry Bites hitting shelves, it seems Cadbury has found a way to sweeten the blow.

So, make sure you don’t miss out.

Head to Iceland now before these strawberry delights are all snapped up.

At just £1.50 a bag, they’re a bargain no chocolate lover can resist.

It’s not just Cadbury’s new treats that have Brit’s hooked.

Australian chocolates seem to be just as popular here in the UK as they are down under.

The Australian Cherry Ripe, Perky Nana and Pinky bars have all been spotted on UK shores.

Mars released two new Maltesers flavours in May last year, the New Maltesers Desserts Tiramisu and the Black Forest Gateau Maltesers.

B&M shoppers went wild for Cadbury’s Honeycomb Sundae Twirls after they were spotted in B&M, previously only available in Australia.

Likewise, the Cadbury Dairy Milk Slices Vanilla Passionfruit was a huge hit when it was spotted on shop shelves.

How to save money on chocolate

WE all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…

Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed on flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for supermarket’s own brand bars.

Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.

Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.

They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.

Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.

So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
