Seb Mason, 38, said: “I thought, ‘What on earth is this?’. I was disgusted.”

He was relieved he was not with his two children when he saw the £3.99 novelty desktop item at The Range in Exeter.

The council worker from Chudleigh, Devon, added: “It doesn’t seem at all appropriate to be in the aisle with children’s toys.

“It’s offensive on so many levels.”

A description states: “The “Inflatable Lady Boy” is a quirky and fun desktop accessory that adds a touch of whimsy to your workspace.

“Whether you’re looking for a unique gift or a conversation starter for your own workspace, the Inflatable Lady Boy is sure to brighten your day.”

A spokeswoman for The Range, told The Sun: “The Range is a one-stop destination for all home, leisure and garden needs.

“We stock a variety of products including a party and novelty range, which caters for all audiences.”
