Aldi confirms it’s discontinued TWO biscuits from its range as shoppers cry ‘I was going to get 50 packets’
Shoppers were gutted to find shelves emptied of the two products
ALDI has quietly discontinued two of its popular snack items, leaving loyal fans scrambling to find alternatives.
The supermarket confirmed the changes after customers took to social media to complain about the missing products.
Shoppers took to X (formerly Twitter) after struggling to find Coconut Rings and Chocolate Rich Tea biscuits in store.
One wrote: “@Aldi Where have these gone? My fiancé loves them and was going to get 50 packets for his 50th birthday in 3 weeks.
“Been to 3 stores and none on shelf – please help.”
Aldi’s response confirmed the bad news: “I’m so sorry, but this product has been discontinued.
“We hope your fiancé finds an alternative packet to fall in love with.”
Similar disappointment surrounded the Chocolate Rich Tea biscuits.
When asked about their absence, Aldi stated: “We can see this product has been discontinued.
“We are sorry for any disappointment.”
This isn’t the first time Aldi has left shoppers heartbroken over axed favourites.
In recent months, the supermarket has also pulled several other popular items from shelves including Village Bakery Seeded Medium Sliced Loaf, Salted Caramel Teabags, Four Seasons Lemon and Lime Slices, Moser Roth Vegan Blonde Chocolate Bar.
For now, fans of these discontinued biscuits will need to turn to alternative brands or hope for a return of their beloved snacks in the future.
