A MAJOR supermarket has slashed the price of Cadbury selection boxes to just £1.
Cadbury selection boxes are a go-to present at Christmas time, containing all the nation's favourite chocolate bars.
So customers were delighted when they spotted a bargain offer in B&M - all 125g medium Christmas Santa boxes down to £1 from £2.
The discount marks a whopping 50% reduction, making it the lowest price around currently.
Shoppers have been posting the find on social media encouraging others to run out and grab the discounted chocs.
One posted on the group: "Run don't walk to Morrisons if you have a More Card these medium Cadburys selection boxes go from £2 to £1 each."

Others asked if there was a buying limit on the boxes to which the original poster said no.
The offer is on 125g Cadbury selection boxes which include five bars and a pack of mini buttons.
However, others were displeased, noticing how the boxes have shrunk to a smaller size over the years.
It's available both in-store and online - but you do have to have a More Card.
The Morrisons More Card already enables shoppers to bank Points on selected products by scanning their More Card or app.
Once a customer has saved 5,000 Points, they receive a £5 Morrisons voucher which can be redeemed at a future shop, in-store or online.
It's free to sign up and it means you can bag special loyalty prices.
The only other chain we could find selling the same size selection boxes for £1 was Iceland.
The supermarket chain is offering the price as part of its 12 days of Christmas deals.
While Morrisons and Iceland's Christmas chocs deals are the best on the market at the minute, it's always worth comparing prices to be sure.
You can use websites like Trolley, Price Spy and Price Runner which let you compare prices on thousands of products.
A quick search with the Google Shopping/Product tab can bring up what some retailers are selling items for too.
It's worth going direct to discounters' websites like B&M and Home Bargains too as they often have cheap chocs on sale.
What is loyalty pricing?
You may have heard of loyalty pricing, but do you know what it is?
Sainsbury's, Tesco and Morrisons are three supermarkets that offer customers signed up to their loyalty schemes exclusive discounts - known as loyalty pricing.
All three retailer's schemes, Nectar Card, Clubcard and More Card, are free to sign up to as well.
The obvious advantage to loyalty pricing is that you can save potentially hundreds of pounds a year on your shopping, all without spending a penny.
But different supermarkets offer exclusive discounts on different products, so do some research before doing your shopping.
Either way, be wary of supermarkets artificially inflating prices to make it seem like you're getting a better deal than you are.
A previous investigation by consumer group Which? found Sainsbury's and Tesco have increased the price of everyday goods then slapped loyalty prices on them thinking customers wouldn't notice.
Either way, it's worth shopping around though.
Supermarkets change their prices all the time, sometimes multiple times daily, so it's worth researching to ensure you're getting the best price on an item.
You can use websites like Trolley to see how the major supermarket's compare in terms of price on any number of goods.
What other deals are on selection boxes this year?
A popular product similar to the Cadbury box is the Twix and Friends Christmas Selection.
It contains a classic Twix duo bar, two special-edition Twix bars, M&Ms and Milky Way Magic Stars.
It's slightly pricier than Dairy Milk - the cheapest place to buy it is currently Asda at £2, otherwise it is £2.75 in most other stores.
A Cadbury Christmas Stocking Selection Box is also cheapest in Asda, costing a steeper £2.50, but containing six full-sized chocolate bars.
In comparison, it is £3.50 on Ocado.
Or if you're looking for some classic Celebrations to have, share or gift this year, they're currently cheapest in Aldi for £2.08.

How to save money on chocolate
We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs...
Go own brand - if you're not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you'll save by going for the supermarket's own brand bars.
Shop around - if you've spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it's cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you're getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers - supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they've been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars - most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you've got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
