Aldi is going to sell an inflatable hot tub with a hefty price tag…and it’s not an April Fool

The inflatable hot tub costs £399 and will be on sale online and in Aldi shops next week

ALDI is going to sell an inflatable hot tub as part of a new luxury garden range - but it’s not cheap.

The deluxe Intext spa pool - which fits up to four people - will cost £399.

It features 120 jets as well as a powerful heater and is the perfect item to give “garden parties an edge this summer”, the supermarket said.

It will be available buy online from April 6 and in stores around the UK from April 9.

As part of Aldi’s Specialbuys range, which is usually limited stock, once it’s sold out, it’s gone.

The portable “spa pool” is currently priced at £570 on Amazon, although cheaper inflatable hot tubs can be bought from high street shops.

Argos, Homebase and tesco all sell similar products to the one being sold by Aldi, for as little as £319.

So, it’s worth doing your research before you invest in the garden feature.

It’s quite a lot cheaper than a proper hot tub, which can cost anywhere in the range of £5,000 to around £8,000, depending on the model.

Alongside the inflatable hot tub the budget supermarket has also launched a new range of garden furniture, an oil drum charcoal BBQ and a ceramic solar powered water feature.

It’s not the first time Aldi has sold luxury items at a discount.

Earlier this month we revealed how Aldi candles that are just like ones from posh Jo Malone were being flogged on eBay for more than seven times the price after selling out in shops.

We also revealed how Aldi manages to keep costs down by making sure till staff can scan items speedily.
