FAST FOOD chain Popeyes is giving away 20,000 free chicken tenders across the UK in one day.

The New Orleans-born fried chicken brand is offering the mouth-watering deal - its biggest-ever - on Blue Monday (January 20).

As Donald Trump returns to the White House for his second innings as US President, 10,000 fried chicken lovers are in with a chance of taking two portions of tenders each.

January 20 is traditionally considered the most depressing day of the year due to the chilly weather, lack of sunlight and post-holiday blues.

But Popeyes is intent on putting a smile on thousands of Brit faces.

All fans need to do to get their hands on a portion of two Shatter Crunchin’ Chicken Tenders is download the Popeyes app and register for an account before Blue Monday.

The offer will be available in the app to registered users on the day.
