We take a look at Amanda Holden’s new Seventies-inspired homeware range with QVC

BRITAIN'S Got Talent star Amanda Holden has revealed her own secret talents as a designer – with a stunning new interior range released today.
The new range of quirky designs are inspired by Amanda’s love of daring colours, and memories from the Seventies.
Introducing her designs exclusively for The Sun Online, Amanda, 46, says: “I’m inspired by the yellow wallpaper my Mum used, and the geometric shapes which were popular at the time.
"Some of the Seventies were an absolute design nightmare, but some pieces were great, and that sense of fun and daring to be different inside your own home really appeals to me.
“I fill my own home with vintage furniture and I love using bright colours for statement pieces.
"My own house is fifty shades of grey, but I put cushions in blue, mustard and coral on grey sofas which makes the room come alive.

“My interior style is very quirky and vintage, with plenty of pineapples because I am obsessed with them – and the colour mustard. I even have a vintage-style mustard telephone, which I love!
“Designing this BundleBerry range has been incredible fun, and I’d love to do more.”

Here, Amanda, who lives near Richmond with record producer husband Chris Hughes, 42, and daughters Lexi, 10 and Hollie, four, introduces her new range BundleBerry by Amanda Holden exclusively for QVC.
She says: “The collection is named after Lexi, who was wrapped up in a bundle when she was a baby and the Holly Berry – after my daughter Hollie.
“I hope the range encourages people to try new colours, to bring garden furniture inside the home or to upcycle an old piece with bright paint. Interiors should be about having fun!"
Amanda Holden launches her exclusive homeware collection BundleBerry by Amanda Holden on tomorrow.
Chevron cushions - £27.50 each
One brightly coloured cushion can change the feel of a whole room. These transform any plain sofa.
I love geometric shapes, which remind me of herringbone floors in the Seventies. My dad created a parquet-style brickwork flooring outside underneath our pergola, where I used to sit and play with my dollies.
Those same shapes are re-emerging in my own designs now.
Set of two metal storage trunks - £88.50
I love storage with a difference, and both my daughters have little wooden suitcases next to their beds to keep their bits and pieces. These were the inspiration for these bright, stackable tin cases.
I like these so much I keep them in my lounge. They are available in white, raspberry and grey.
BundleBerry Bistro table and chairs set - £182.50
This is designed as a garden set but I’d love to see them brought inside, because they’d look great in a kitchen.
The set comes in blue, black and white but I love the bright blue because just challenges the whole "garden furniture is boring" concept.
Set of two mugs - £14.50 per set
I wanted mugs to be chunky and substantial but to actually have their own character. These come in blue, and yellow or in green and black and they fit into the vintage style of the range.
You can choose the colour according to the mood. There’s two mugs for the price, because budget is really important to me. I have young kids and china gets broken.
Beautiful cups which cost too much to replace just aren’t practical when families are trying to stick to a budget.
Ceramic vase - £15.00
I love the way that details on something small and affordable like a vase can make a huge difference to a room. This vase, which comes in blue, yellow and grey, just makes me smile.
I have geometric shaped yellow wallpaper in my own living room, and although it sounds like a nightmare, it looks great! This is just simple and cheerful.
String chair - £99
There’s nothing more ‘Seventies’ than a string chair – and nothing more comfortable too!
When I was growing up on a council estate, we used to run in and out of everyone’s houses, and I remember all their furniture and wallpaper. Everything was colourful and fun – like this chair.
Set of three faux succulents - £14.50
If you don’t want to worry about watering plants, these realistic artificial succulents are in three sweet little pots which will brighten up any dull windowsill or shelf.
If you have a hectic lifestyle – and mine is chaos with a puppy, a dog, two children and Chris – you can pop these down and forget about them.
Suitcase side table - £204.50
Of all my designs, this is the item I most want to nick! I love furniture which is unique and has lots of character.
The idea here was to create a sense of space – so hence the illusion of space under the frame legs.
I remember Chris and I decorating a flat in North London when we first got together. We really didn’t have much space or money, so I learned about choosing furniture carefully. I designed this table with a smaller room in mind.
Set of two photo frames - £18.00
Filling a room with photos really turns it into a home. I’m addicted to photographs, and I love black and white shots and pictures of my girls when they were tiny.
These frames look incredible with black and white photographs– making a stunning display of special pictures and memories.
