Asda, Aldi, Tesco and many other stores will shut on Easter Sunday, with only a few select stores remaining open.

The majority of large Express stores across England, Wales, and Isle of Man will be open from 8am - 6pm, while there will be no changes for Express stores.

All John Lewis stores will be open from 10am to 6pm on both Good Friday and Easter Monday, with some locations operating extended hours.
Stores will trade as normal on Easter Saturday, but all UK branches will close on Easter Sunday, except for its Edinburgh and Glasgow locations, which will remain open from 10am to 6pm.

On Easter Sunday, several branches will remain open, and customers are encouraged to use the store locator to check if their local store is among them.

Iceland stores in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland will be closed on Easter Sunday, whereas branches in Scotland will remain open.
For Good Friday, Easter Saturday, and Easter Monday, most stores will operate their regular opening hours, with the exception of those located in shopping centres.

On Friday and Monday, the majority of post offices across the country are expected to be closed.
However, it is best to visit the office branch finder on the Post Office website to see which hours your local store is operating over the Bank Holiday.
Deliveries will also be affected across the long weekend, as the Post Office does not deliver packages on bank holidays. This means on April 18 and 21, there will be no postal services.

Sainsbury's has confirmed their Easter opening hours for 2025 and they should be available for all your food and drink essentials when you need them.
Sainsbury's bank holiday hours are:
- Good Friday: 7am to 10pm
- Easter Saturday: 7am to 10pm
- Easter Sunday: CLOSED
- Easter Monday: 8am to 8pm

Most Co-op stores in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will remain open on Easter Sunday but will operate shorter opening hours.
