You can get a 11-bed mansion in Scotland, or a pokey studio flat in the capital - which would you go for?

Since 2004 it has been fully refurbished and is now a private house with 11 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and 15 living rooms.
On the other end of the scale in London, this one-bed luxury flat in High Street Kensington has just one bedroom and one bathroom, although owners will have access to the development's swimming pool and private cinema.
But the house, which costs £1.1million, comes with extra charges on top of the £1.1million price tag, with ground rent costing £600 a year, plus a service charge.
