Aldi is selling a really cheap 49inch 4k smart TV – but you’ll have to be quick

The TV is about £30 cheaper than those sold by rival retailers

IF you're in the market for a new TV then you might want to get yourself down to Aldi on Thursday.

The bargain supermarket is selling a 49 inch Bauhn smart 4K Led TV for just £319.99.

Rival shops sell similar sets for around £350 to £500, but some fancy ones cost as much as £600 or £700.

It's part of Aldi's specialbuys range, which means they go on sale in branches around the UK on Thursday 7 September.

There were some for sale online but these have already sold out.

Stock is likely to be limited. Some branches might have a little as two or three per store and once they're gone, they are gone.

Aldi's specialbuys are released each Sunday and Thursday and usually go on sale online and in stores.

The TV comes with a three-year warranty and have built in wifi capabilities and Freeview.

TV's with 4K technology are known for having brilliantly sharp pictures and are pretty popular with tech nerds and telly fans.

Although, you'll need to have a Xbox One S, 4K Blu-Ray player or Sky Q to enjoy 4K.

So it's important to remember you won't be able to watch Netflix's or YouTube in 4K just yet.

This isn't the first time Aldi has sold 4K TV's either. According to bargain hunters on HotUKDeals they also sold the TV for as little as £300 in the past.

In January, Samsung woo'd tech fans when it unveiled a brand new 4K QLED TV that claims shows colours which are brighter and bolder than ever before.
