Sainsbury’s now does one-hour delivery – but only if you live in London
Shoppers can order up to 25 items via an app - but you'll have to live in the capital to take advantage
FORGOT that vital ingredient for tonight's dinner? Well Sainsbury's has got you covered - but only if you live in central London.
The supermarket has announced it is to expand its one hour Chop Chop service to include shoppers in zones one and two of the capital following a successful trial.
Delivery costs £4.99 and you can order up to 25 items but there is no minimum spend.
Originally, the service was only available in certain postcodes but it has now rolled it out to all addresses in central London, giving 1.7million customers the chance to use the delivery scheme.
To use the service you need to download the Chop Chop app to your smartphone for free.
Your items are then picked from a local store and delivered to your door via a bike or moped.

The service will be available seven days a week and shoppers will be able to get their delivery within an hour if they order within store opening hours.
A spokeswoman for Sainsbury's said there are currently no plans to roll the service out across the UK but it will "closely monitor the popularity of the service."
"We’re delighted the trial of our Chop Chop delivery service has proven to be such a success," the spokeswoman added.
"We were the first UK supermarket to introduce one-hour delivery last year and this roll-out will give us the largest reach to shoppers across London."
In the summer, Tesco launched its Tesco Now app which lets customers order up to 20 items and get delivery within one hour.
In May, The Sun Online revealed how it was trialling the scheme after money blogger Tom Church, uncovered the service after spotting a courier delivering Tesco bags.
Amazon also offers one-hour delivery on certain items for its Prime customers, as long as your order comes to £20 or more.
The delivery cost is £6.99.
