You can now buy CAMEL milk at Asda – and it’s owned by the ruler of Dubai

FANCY pimping-up your morning cuppa with a royal seal of approval?
Well thanks to Asda you can, which has started selling CAMEL milk.
According , the Camelicious brand is owned by the ruler of Dubai, Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and is already on sale in 144 Asda shops, with a 235-millilitre cartons available for £2.85.
That's pretty pricey though - 235 millilitres work out at less than half a pint.
You can pick up a 6-pint semi-skinned carton for just £1.48 - more than a £1 cheaper.
The Sun Online hasn't had chance to carry out a taste test but according to those who have, camel's milk is slightly saltier than normal cow milk.
According to the Camelicious website, it's also much healthier, with it being around 50 per cent lower in fat than cow's milk and "rich in natural vitamin C".
The milk is produced by more than 2,000 of the sheik's camels in Dubai and while it might be a bit of a novelty for British tastes, it is widely served in drinks across the middle east.

And as well as the milk, Camelicious also produces a range of cheeses, butter and ice cream.
Lots of supermarkets are selling a range of quirky products, particularly in the run up to Christmas.
This week Iceland announced it was selling a Christmas pudding which has CHEESE in.
And Aldi is selling a new chocolate flavoured desert wine for a tenner.
