There’s now a Double Decker chocolate spread and it sounds AMAZING
Eagle-eyed shoppers have already spotted the chocolatey greatness on the shelves of Asda - and it only costs £2.50
CHOCOLATE lovers are in for a real treat because Cadbury have turned the Double Decker bar into a spread.
You hear us correctly. And even though it's not officially been launched yet, eagle-eyed shoppers have already been picking up jars for £2.50 in Asda.
The spread is inspired by the actual chocolate bars and are made from nougat flavouring and crunchy cereal.
We've not tried it yet, but we're hoping it's as good as the Reese's peanut butter chocolate spread and the Malteaser spread.
Each 75g portion contains 86 calories, so a 400g pot of the sugar goodness contains 2280 calories - so bare that in mind before you reach for the spoon.
It was first picked up by the , who shared the photo with their 4655 followers.
They wrote: "Cadbury double decker spread spotted just at Asda currently £2.50."
The post attracted over 1,000 likes and hundred of comments from eager fans.
CHOC SHOCK Boozy Nutella pasta is now a thing for some reason… but would YOU try it?
One user even joked: "I can't wait to dip a double decker into a pot of this... worth a heart attack."
The Sun Online has been tracking down Cadbury and Asda to find out if the deal really is a dream come true but they are yet to come back to us with the details.
But Asda did tell us that the spread is beginning to be rolled out which is why people will have already spotted them in only some stores.
Of course, it's more expensive than a tub of basic chocolate spread which costs around 80p but it's the same size and price of other Cadbury spreads.
We definitely can't wait to try this one and we hope it tastes as good as it sounds.
Nutella recently sent fans nuts after the Sun broke the news that the price of the spread had gone up, despite the cost of ingredients going down.
