Worst Xmas trees ever? We name and shame the high street shops who charge up to £110 for a light-up twig
LIGHT up twigs, upside down firs and "parasol" Christmas trees are what some retailers are stocking this year - and some cost more than a HUNDRED pounds.
John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, Argos and Tesco are among the shops stocking weird looking trees for more than ten times the price of a traditional one.
There's nothing wrong with breaking the mould but you'll have to pay up to £190 if you want something different to put your presents under this year.
We took a look at the cheapest 6ft traditional artificial tree and found that you can pick one up for as low as £15.
But that means for the same price as some of these wacky looking alternative trees, you could buy at least 12 standard trees.
Some designs this year are skinny, leafless light up trees which look hardly more than a twig and cost up to £110 in Next.

Argos is selling an upside down 7ft artificial Christmas tree which they say will help you "make the most of your limited floor space".
It comes with 200 LED lights and a £189.99 price tag. We're not sure why on earth you'd want it.
