Aldi Wagyu ribeye and sirloin steaks are back – and they cost £7.99
The posh steaks will be available in stores from Thursday but be warned - they sold out in just two days when they were on sale earlier this year.
IT'S known as one of the most expensive meats in the world - and normally comes with a price tag to match.
But you have won't have to break the bank to enjoy New Zealand Wagyu Ribeye and Sirloin steaks at home thanks to Aldi.
The budget supermarket is bringing back the prime cuts for a bargain price of £7.99 each.
They'll be available in stores from Thursday but be warned - they sold out in just two days when they were on sale earlier this year so you better be quick if you want to take advantage.
The cuts take their name from the famous Japanese Kobe Wagyu, which can sell for up to £500 a kilo in Japan.
Aldi describes the meat as being succulent and tender, with its distinctive marbling of fat which melts as it cooks making it stand out from the crowd.
The discount supermarket first made Wagyu meat accessible to everyone last year, when they offered the steaks from a starting price of just £7.29.
So the price may have jumped by 70p - but we still think that's a pretty good deal.

They were such a hit the store then launched Wagyu beef burgers at the height of barbecue season, costing £2.99 in September last year.
Aldi's Jule Ashfield said: "We are committed to offering unique and premium quality at everyday low prices and our Wagyu steaks, which are sourced from some of the finest producers in New Zealand, are the perfect example of this.”
Whether you like Aldi's meaty products depend entirely on your taste but the retailer and its rival Lidl actually gained popularity for stocking up top steaks at a budget price.
Both budget stores have recently been given the stamp of approval by posh lifestyle magazine Tatler.

Meat from both budget supermarket chains have made the list, with Aldi's Specially Selected 30-day aged fillet steak costing just over a fiver.
Morrisons is also known for its generous offers for meat lovers.
Last month, the supermarket, which committed to sell British-only fresh meat, sold a meat box with almost 2kg of meat for just £10.
