THE Co-op is selling a fuss-free turkey for two with all of the trimmings this Christmas all for £12 - but is it worth the money?
The turkey comes in a festive box and comes wrapped in streaky bacon, with pigs in blankets, stuffing balls, gravy and cranberry sauce - but you'll need to fork out for the veggies separately.
The turkey meat comes already wrapped in foil and all of the ingredients are already in a tray so you can open the box and put them straight into the oven.
This also comes with the added perk of no washing up.
The bird cooks in 50 minutes leaving the chef with more time to spend with their company.
The box isn't aimed at big families over the festive season and only serves two people - which will work for an elderly couple or housemates planning on spending Christmas together.
Whilst there's no doubt that it's convenient but we looked to see if it's any cheaper to buy the ingredients individually.
On it's own, a turkey breast joint that serves three costs £4 from Sainsbury's and a pack of 12 pigs in blankets from Asda for £2.50 and stuffing mix from Asda also 19p.
A 300g pot of cranberry sauce from Aldi will set you back £1.49 and unsmoked streaky bacon rashers for £1.04 from Asda, as well as own brand meat gravy for 60p.
If you bought these ingredients on their own then it would cost you less than a tenner and you'd get more food.

But if it's only the two of you eating Christmas dinner you might be willing to pay the extra £2 to £3 on the Co-op turkey with all the trimmings, where there's no need to prep and little washing up.
You won't be able to pre-order the boxes and they're not available in stores until December 19 so you'll need to be quick on the day to make sure that you get one.
