Reshopper lets mums and dads buy and sell kids' clothing, toys and lots more at second hand prices. It is used by HALF of Danish parents

WE all know that being a parent is an expensive business - but one new app is looking to help loosen the purse strings for mums and dads.

The Reshopper app has arrived in the UK and lets parents get rid of unwanted items their kdis no longer need quickly and easily.

Clothes they've outgrown, or old toys they no longer play with are typical examples of the items sold on the app - and best of all, it's much cheaper than buying brand new.

The app was first launched by a group of dads in Denmark back in 2012 and it has gone from strength to strength.

According to their own figures, more than HALF of Danish households with kids under 6 use the app each month, while they claim the average parent will make around £315 a year by selling their kids' unwanted toys and clothes.

Overall, one million items were sold in Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands in 2017 using the app.
