Ordinary-looking house has one VERY distinctive feature that makes it a ‘first class’ holiday home

THIS quirky property is hiding an amazing secret which has transformed it from a dilapidated building to a luxury holiday getaway.

Lee and Chloe Bone worked tirelessly to restore a former station master's house they purchased in Worcestershire two years ago.

The family re-named the property - which has trains stop right outside every day - Platform 3.

The quirky house was built in the 1800s and had been given to the station master who lived there until he died.

It is the only surviving building from the demolition of the Malvern Link railway station in the 1960s as part of cuts and had been left empty until it was put on the market a couple of years ago and the pair snapped it up after just one viewing.

The couple have said they have spent “a few hundred thousand” on the property and it has took them two years to get the house in shape.

Lee, 34, said: "We fell in love with the property as soon as we laid eyes on it, and put an offer in on a whim following our very first viewing.

"It's been an intense project - we have spent hundreds of thousands on it."

The couple, along with a four-week-old baby and three-year-old toddler moved in and have transformed the house into a stunning holiday cottage.

The five star holiday let is now the first of three set to open - with the building being divided into three sections.

Craftsman Lee has kept many of the original features and has added some quirky additions including a wall-mounted stationary engine which belonged to his grandad and a floor made from two pence coins.

He added: "We’re really proud of what we’ve achieved during the restoration, and have had lovely feedback from the community, many of whom have noticed the property for the first time."
