Fancy a Guinness-flavoured burrito? Weird St Patrick Day food being offered by takeaways in the UK

Ahead of St Patrick's Day this Saturday UK restaurants and takeaway chains are selling a whole load of Irish themed meals.

Expect a lot of Guinness and even more green food dye from these St Paddy's Day offerings.

The themed meals will all be available on Uber Eats from the 16th to the 18th of March.

Twisted London are selling a “Big Green Philly Burger” which includes a Guinness braised flank, green peppers, green onions and green mustard.

It is even topped off with a green béchamel sauce.

Twisted London are a delivery only fast food chain known for their food porn posts on facebook.

For those with more of a sweeter tooth you can get a Guinness infused crepe from Crêpeaffaire.

This desert option is sure to tickle your taste buds and comes with apples, cinnamon and sultanas.

Not to shy away, BarBurrito have introduced a huge wrap made from beef brisket and cooked with guinness in a spicy sauce available.

They pride themselves on being burrito kings and were the first burrito bar to open in the UK in Manchester in 2005.

You certainly won't be lacking in iron after scoffing down all these Guinness infused products.

Uber Eats spokesman Toussaint Wattinne said: “Our St Paddy’s Feast means Ireland’s famous tipple can be at the heart of a celebratory meal rather than a glass on the side.

“Whether it’s pre-party dining or catering to your post St Paddy’s celebrations recovery – our unique menu means you can bring the celebrations to the dining table at home.

“All our restaurant partners have put a modern twist on a traditional ingredient and are offering our customers something truly unique to enjoy in the comfort of their home come St Paddy’s weekend.”
