Lidl’s new camping range includes a tent for just £30

The budget supermarket has everything you need for a summer camping holiday at home

SPRING (hopefully) has finally sprung and if you and the family are planning on a summer "staycation" you'll want to head to Lidl this weekend.

The budget supermarket is launching a new range of camping gear which will take care of all your outdoor needs when you head to the wilds.

Among the highlights of the sale is a

It comes with an inner ground sheet, entrance area and mosquito netting and a carry bag for convenience too.

You can also pick up a machine washable sleeping bag for £14.99 and a foldable camping mat for £9.99 too.

Other items include a USB-chargeable torch for £8.99 and a foldable picnic blanket, which will be on sale for just £4.99.

And if you're planning on spending lots of time in the great British countryside this summer (or your garden), and want to keep an eye on any animals popping by, Lidl is also selling a weather-proof wildlife surveillance camera.

The 8 megapixel camera comes with a motion detector which records any movement from animals when it's triggered.

As well as taking snaps, the high-tech piece of kit also takes High Definition video too.

The camping gear will go on sale at Lidl shops across the UK from Sunday - but they will only be available until stocks last, so you better be quick if you want to take advantage.

Last week The Sun reported on why the rise of Lidl and Aldi has been good news for Brits.

Lidl reported its sale rocketed by 16 per cent in December as shoppers flocked to its stores to stock up on groceries for Christmas.

Both retailers are planing on opening more than 800 stores across the country by 2022.
