Green & Black’s is bringing out three new ice-cream flavours but they come at a price
There are two sizes - 120ml and 500ml - and prices start at £2 for the smaller tubs and £4.50 for the bigger ones
CHOCOLATE lovers are in for a treat as Green & Black’s is bringing out three new ice-cream flavours - but they come with a hefty price tag.
The posh chocolate maker is adding salted caramel, chocolate & ginger and chocolate & salted caramel to its range.
Sadly the sweet treats come at price. There are two sizes - 120ml and 500ml - and prices start at £2 for the smaller tubs and £4.50 for the bigger ones.
To compare, a 460ml tub of salted caramel ice-cream from Haagen-Dazs will cost you £2.50 - almost half the price.
If you don't mind the hefty price tag, the frozen treats do sound pretty tasty.
Green & Black’s claims each ice cream features "the highest quality and "fullest flavour" ingredients, making it the perfect after-dinner treat to indulge in.
The salted caramel ice-cream comes with a generous swirl of rich caramel sauce blended with flakes of Anglesey sea salt, perfect for customers with a sweet-tooth.
We reckon Green & Black’s chocolate & ginger indulgent snack will also be ideal for those who like their ice-cream with a kick.
Meanwhile, the chocolate & salted caramel combines velvety dark chocolate with indulgent salted caramel sauce - a match made in Heaven.
The posh chocolate maker's treats sounds mouthwatering, but we can't say it'll be too good for your waistline.
Just 100g of the chocolate & salted caramel ice-cream has 255kcal. Ouch.
It also contains 32.9g of sugar - that's above an adult's recommended daily sugar allowance of 30g.
The lighter salted caramel flavour still has 230kcal per 100g and 22.6g of sugar.
