Morrisons’ three for £5 deal on picnic foods includes chicken wings, pork pies and salami

YOU can now fill your picnic hamper without breaking the bank thanks to the latest deal from Morrisons.

From salami and chicken wings to frittatas, the supermarket's range includes 48 products for a bargain al-fresco meal.

All the items cost £2 each and shoppers can save £1 by picking up three different snacks from the range for £5 until August 28.

Breaded feta cubes, houmous with olives and a pea and mint frittata are also included in the deal if you're not a meat lover.

It's a pretty good deal considering Tesco has a similar offer on picnic foods - but all of the products are priced £2.50 and you'll have to pay £6 for three.

Still, bare in mind that it might be cheaper to buy some of these snacks separately elsewhere.

Now that the weather is perking up, many supermarkets have slashed prices on BBQ foods, so it's worth checking their deals online before you shop.

Lidl just  launched a barbecue food range - and everything costs less than £3.

Those who like their meat with a bit of a kick can pick up Lidl's tomato and chilli beef burgers for £2.69 for a 454g pack.

The range also includes a 220g Deluxe beef rump steak with piri-piri butter for £2.99.

Meanwhile, Iceland just came up with "the ultimate" barbecue Selection pack - with sides - for just £10.
