WHAT THE CLUCK?

KFC launches BONE CHINA buckets to commemorate the royal wedding

JUST when you thought we’d reached peak royal wedding, KFC steps up to the memorabilia plate.

The fast-food chain has created specially designed buckets made of bone china to celebrate the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle this weekend.

The specially-designed bucket will be available at KFC’s Windsor branch on Saturday

This might just be the worst example of royal wedding out there so far, but we can help but snigger at the thought of Harry and Meghan chowing down on a bargain bucket in their wedding gear.

And the couple did talk about how they attempted to cook a roast chicken just before Harry proposed, so at least they are a fan of the meat…

That said, it’s likely to frustrate some KFC and royal fans, as there are only 50 of the buckets available via its app.

A further 50 made of cardboard will be available from KFC’s Windsor branch on the day itself.

The buckets will cost the same price as a 10 piece bucket, usually around £10.49 but prices vary.

Brands, shops and restaurants have all been rushing to create royal themed products ahead of the wedding on Saturday.

We’ve seen coins, tea towels and even condoms adorned with Harry and Meghan’s face on them.

The couple are set to tie the knot at St George’s Chapel, in Windor Castle.

Mr Thomas Markle, Meghan’s dad, will walk her down the aisle.

Britain is set to frazzle on Saturday as temperatures hit a high of 24 Celsius.
