Malibu now does a Pina Colada cocktail in a can

Tasty new flavour will replace the strawberry kiwi line

IF it tastes as good as it sounds then Malibu's new premixed Pina Colada should be a treat.

Costing just £1.80 each, the cocktail in a can will be the no fuss way to enjoy a tipple in the sunshine.

The drink will replace the popular alcohol's strawberry and kiwi flavour in the range, which has been out since last year.

Malibu makers Pernod Ricard said it expects the flavour to be embraced by 18-24 year olds, who they claim are “eager for the new flavour.”

But at five per cent alcohol, you might want to make sure you keep an eye on your intake and .

With blazing summer days just around the corner, if you want to get your hands on a can just visit your local Tesco or Sainsbury's.

James Middleton, from Pernod Ricard UK, said: ''The Piña Colada is Malibu’s signature cocktail and we are delighted to be introducing an on-the-go format that will allow us to tap into home cocktail occasions.''

You can now buy pre-mixed Espresso Martinis from Tesco for £1.25.

All Shook Up Espresso Martinis – which are being exclusively sold at Tesco – are literally cocktails in a can, so you can save your mixing skills and money with this drink.

It’s also cheaper than going to a bar to buy one as they average around £7.

If cocktails are not your tipple of choice, supermarket giant Lidl launched a new English sparkling wine range that is made and tastes like Champagne.

Rival Asda is also selling its award-winning Prosecco for £5 – but you’ll have to be quick – as they always get sold out.

The deal makes it one of the cheapest bottles of supermarket Prosecco.
