The rather early list of must-have toys for this Christmas includes a unicorn that poos glitter as well as toys from Paw Patrol, Fingerlings and Lego

IT may still be 200 days until Father Christmas comes down our chimneys once more, but Argos is already predicting what the must-have toys will be this Christmas.

The retailer has revealed its list of top toys for Christmas 2018 - and the it includes toys from Paw Patrol, Lego, Lol Surprise and even a unicorn that poos glitter.

Although it may seem a bit soon to be thinking about the festive season for most people, according to research by Argos, 4.7 million of us have already started our Christmas shopping.
And half a million super organised 16-25 year olds have already bought all their presents for the festive season.

Argos's top toys list comes out every year and is a great guide to knowing what the must have presents this year will be before they all fly off the shelves.

Last year Argos correctly predicted that Luvabella dolls would be a smash hit.

The life-like dolls were incredibly popular, selling out in stores and then being sold for twice the price online.

Another one of last year's bestsellers, Fingerlings are back on the list this year with new "untamed" dinosaur versions of the collectable toys.

Argos' top toys will all be available to buy in stores from July, with the exception of Poopsie Unicorn Suprise and the Nerf Laser Ops Two-Pack which will both be in stores in August.

Here is a look at Argos' very unicorn heavy list of top toys for Christmas 2018:

Here are some top tips on how you can cut the price of your Christmas shopping

USE these Christmas tips to start saving money for the big day.

1. Plan out your Christmas spending

If you just buy all your Christmas presents and food and then think about the money later you will probably be in for a nasty shock.

As we have 200 days that gives you ample time to plan out what you are going to buy and how much it will cost so you can spread the cost of your Christmas over a long period of time.

2. Online shoppers are just a click away from a happy Christmas with a little organisation:

Start an online festive basket now and drop in bargains when you spot them.

But make a note of end dates so you don’t miss out.

3. Not happy with your bank?

Get some welcome extra cash to splurge by switching.

Many banks offer great welcome incentives of up to £200 free cash, which can cover a hefty chunk of the Christmas food shop.

4. Bulk-buy now when you spot a great deal.

Lots of shops already have offers on Chrimbo treats that have long use-by dates, such as crisps, nuts or booze.

Grab them while you can and stash them for a Santastic Christmas.

5. Nerves of steel to bag a great deal?

If you can bear to wait until Christmas Eve, there will be massive discounts on fresh food and veg that needs to be sold.

Just remember there’s no guarantee you’ll get what you want if you leave it this late.
