THE country manor of telecoms tycoon is up for grabs for an estimated £30 million.

Ex-Carphone Warehouse director Martin Dawes, 74, is selling Dinmore Manor, which is set in 1,500 acres of beautiful Herefordshire countryside.

Mr Dawes’ son Paul also owns part of the estate, which dates back to the ages of the Knight Templar.

Selling the estate comes just years after the family spent an estimated £14 million on the Grade Two listed building.

Part of the grounds were turned into a stud farm.

The estate includes a pheasant and partridge shoot, as well as having 20 neighbouring properties.

Savills Estate Agents, who are selling the home, wrote the listing "The manor has been renovated and remodelled by the current owners and as a result is presented to an exceptionally high standard.

Property agent Crispin Holborow, who is handling the sale, added: "Probably the most magical setting of any country estate, Dinmore is also offered for sale in a condition most property owners can only aspire to."

Mr Dawes, sold his mobile phone business to O2 and has an estimated fortune of £110 million.
