Aldi’s own-brand cider looks just like Strongbow but shoppers are split over the taste
A pack of four 440ml cans of dark fruit cider at Aldi costs £2.79 - that's almost half the price of a pack of Strongbow that will set you back £5 at Tesco
ALDI is hugely popular with shoppers thanks to its copycat versions of branded products - but one of its latest dupes has left shoppers divided over the taste.
A bargain hunter posted a snap of her latest find - a pack of Taurus cider, a cheaper alternative to Strongbow, in the Facebook group - .

Danielle Cassidy, 33, from Hebburn, wrote: "Tastes the same as strongbow dark fruits, just half the price. £2.79 in Aldi."
She later added: "Went down lovely".
But many shoppers were left unimpressed saying the product was not worth the saving, with some even comparing the cheap tipple to vinegar.
One customer said: "It can be forced down for sure but certainly not like the Strongbow version".
Another member of the Facebook group added: "If you like drinking vinegar then this is the drink for you".
"Tastes awful," a third one commented.
Others defended Aldi and admitted they've been buying Taurus for weeks. Many also suggested that the budget supermarket's tipple tasted better when cold.
A customer said: "If you get it ice cold, Taurus is great. It's basically Strongbow with some Ribena in it. For half the price, it's the perfect way to save money."
The Sun Online has contacted Aldi for comment.

Budget supermarkets might not always be the cheapest option to hunt for bargains.
Asda hit headlines last year for hiking the price of their bananas to 76p a kilo, overtaking Waitrose as the priciest supermarket.
