Wetherspoon’s now does halloumi fries – and they cost £3
STOP everything because Wetherspoon's has added halloumi fries to its menu.
The pub chain, which has over 900 branches across the UK already does grilled halloumi in all its pubs but its testing out a halloumi fries in about 30 pubs across the UK.
A spokesman told The Sun: "If successful, it may be added to the menu in other pubs."
The fries come with sweet chili sauce and fresh rocket, according to.
We've asked JD Wetherspoon for a list of all the pubs taking part in the trial and will update this article as soon as we know.
It is believed that a portion of the cheesy chips will cost around £3, although prices do vary between branches.
In fact, in July we revealed that prices at the boozer can vary by up to 60 per cent, depending on which branch you go to.
The chain is set to slash its prices by 7.5 per cent for one day next month, as part of a tax equality campaign.
Back in February, Nando's caused a massive stir when it added halloumi fries to its menu.
