Burger King brings back King of the Day offer where a burger costs £1.99

The fast-food retailer is running the offer on a different burger every day this week and you'll be saving at least £1.90

BURGER King is running a deal where a burger only costs £1.99 - almost half price.

The fast-food chain has brought back its King of the Day deal where customers can bag a discount on a different burger every day of the week.

As part of the deal, the burgers cost £1.99 each down from around £3.89 which means you save £1.90.

Or you can upgrade the burger to a meal for £3.99 - normally they cost around £5.39 so you'll be saving £1.40.

Of course, prices vary depending on the branch because some of them are franchises and can set their own.

The promotions started on Monday with the Bacon Double Cheeseburger and today's offer is the Chicken Royale.

There's Whopper Wednesdays to look forward to too, with the Cheese Royal on Thursday, Long Big King on Friday, Long Texas BBQ on Saturday and the Long Seasoned Chicken on Sunday.

The offer is running every day until October 1 so there's no need to rush in order to make the most of the offer.

But there's a way to get a Big Mac meal from McDonald's for the same price - and there's no limit to how many times you use the hack.

Of course, it's not the only way to save at Burger King. You can download the app where there are different offers every day.

You can also order from the King Savers menu where items cost 99p but this isn't available at all branches.

The fast-food chain added a new burger to the menu this year that has EIGHT slices of bacon - but it costs almost £8 a meal.

McDonald's famous Golden Arches are known all over the world - but have you ever wondered why they're yellow?

There's an important reason lots of fast-food chains opt for yellow signs and logos - and it actually makes a lot of sense.
