Cadbury is bringing DARK milk chocolate bars to the UK
CADBURY fans are in for a treat because soon you'll be able to buy dark chocolate Dairy Milk.
There will be two new bars and the chocolate makers promise that they will have a "more grown-up taste".
The new bars will contain 40 per cent cocoa and 14 per cent milk, compared to Dairy Milk which is made up of 23 per cent cocoa and 20 per cent milk.
Mondelez - the brand behind Cadbury - are hoping that it will appeal to chocoholics who find dark chocolate too bitter.
Of course for hardcore chocolate fans Cadbury offers Bournville which is 55 per cent cocoa with no milk.
There will be an "original" plain flavour and a roasted almond one, and each square will be stamped with a swirling "D" instead of a "C" on Dairy Milk bars.
Cadbury said they spent two years developing the Darkmilk bars and they'll hit supermarket shelves in September.
The bars will RRP at £1.49 for 85g which is more expensive than a bar of Dairy Milk.
You can get 110g of the milky chocolate for £1 from Tesco and Waitrose - which works out at 94p for 85g, and 55p cheaper than the new darker bars.
The bars are coming to the UK after proving a hit in Australia who've been chomping down on the sweet snacks for a year already.
