Back to school uniform shopping: what supermarkets like Aldi, Marks & Spencer and Tesco have to offer
It's nearly time for the kids to head back for a new school year, so where can we get our hands on some pocket-friendly school uniform bits?
IT'S very nearly that time where kids will head back to school and embark on a brand new year of education.
And with every new year comes a new school wardrobe, but it can be pricey... here's where you can get your hands on some good value school uniforms on the high street.
Tesco
All of Tesco's range is only available in-store, and their website states some of their bestsellers.
They have kilt skirts from £8, girls' polo shirts from £2.50 and boys' white shirts from £3.50.
Also in their range are cardigans, trousers, gym clothes and a range of pinafores.
They're all currently available in selected stores across the UK.
They have both boy and girl sections and cover primary and secondary ages.
There's also sixth form uniforms that go up to a size 22 for women and a W44/XXL for men.
And it pretty much does what it says on the tin, you can grab a bit of everything that you need, from shiny black shoes to red gingham dresses.
As usual, their entire range is available in selected stores, and they also have a 100 day guarantee on all of their schoolwear.
You can grab an entire uniform including two polo shirts, a sweatshirt and a pair of trousers for £5, or you can opt for one with a skirt instead for the same price.
Morrisons
Morrisons' Nutmeg collection is all available on their site too and they have a pretty broad selection.
They have sweatshirts starting at £2, gingham dresses with matching hair scrunchies from only £4 and two-packs of polo shirts from £2.
