Lidl set to hold huge baby event with prices slashed on clothes and Fisher-Price and Tommee Tippee toys

LIDL is holding a bumper baby sale with bargains on little luxuries such as clothes, pushchairs, baby bottles and gadgets.

The discount sale is set to launch this Thursday - here are the bargains on offer.

A highlight on the kids' wares on offer is a child-friendly toilet seat, priced at £16.99. It's a bargain given that even Amazon's plain white one will set you back over £25.

There's also a pop-up ball pit with 250 balls for £29.99 - similar items cost a fortune on the high street. Boots's version, for example, is £59.99.

An affordable pushchair is also on offer, with the My Babiie pushchair costing £49.99.

The event will begin on Thursday across the whole country, with late September being the peak birth month.
