LEGO has relaunched its popular advent calendars for 2018.

The Lego Star Wars Calendar, Lego City Advent Calendar and Lego Friends Advent calendar are now all available to buy on the toymaker's website.

The Lego Star Wars advent calendar

Age range: 6-14

The galactic Star Wars calendar contains themed Lego figures, starships, vehicles and other collectibles. When you’ve opened all the doors, you also get a foldout play mat with desert and ice-planet scenes for playing out epic Star Wars adventures.

Models include a landspeeder, The Arrowhead, Republic Fighter Tank, Naboo Starfighter, Twin-Pod Cloud Car, General Grievous' Starfighter, Blaster Cannon, Delta-7 Jedi Starfighter, Imperial Troop Transport, TIE Fighter, AT-ACT, Zeta Class Cargo Shuttle and an Imperial Speeder Bike.

Characters include Rose, Rowan, General Merrick, Battle Droid, Death Trooper, Rathtar, Guavian Security Soldier and an IG-88 droid.

Be careful if you're shopping on Amazon though, as the 2016 and 2017 calendars are still available, and some of them are more expensive than the newer versions. For instance, the 2017 calendar is  - and your child may have already had it.

The Lego City advent calendar includes 24 different buildable presents including a space shuttle, race car, drone, robot, Christmas tree and monster truck.

It comes with five minifigures (including Father Christmas) and a husky dog figure.

It also includes a chicken leg, two ice elements, two cupcakes and four cookies.

The Lego Friends advent calendar

Each compartment in the Lego Friends advent calendar lets you build a new decoration for your house or Christmas tree.

Treats include a Santa mini-doll figure and four animal figures.

Gifts include a Christmas tree, candy cane, gingerbread man and a surprise to represent each of the 5 friends from Heartlake City.

The calendar can be bought now . You can get it slightly cheaper for £19.99, but make sure you click on the right link as the 2016 calendar, which looks very similar, is , so you could be out of pocket and with the wrong toy.
