Tesco’s Christmas sandwiches are back – and they include a three-course dinner roll selection
The trio of rolls cost £3.50 and include a prawn cocktail one for starter, turkey and stuffing for the main and a CHOCOLATE bun filled with cream cheese for dessert
TESCO has sandwiched a three-course Christmas dinner into a selection of rolls and we're not sure if it's the best or worst thing we've ever heard of.
The supermarket is selling a pack of three mini-rolls which is inspired by festive starters, mains and even a chocolate and cheese dessert.
There's the posh prawn cocktail for starters and a turkey, sweet cure bacon, sage and onion stuffing with cranberry sauce for the main course.
For pudding, you'll be able to tuck into a CHOCOLATE roll that's filled with cream cheese and a port and cherry drizzle sauce.
Sounds bonkers, right?
The Finest Festive Feast Trio will cost you £3.50 and is rolling out to supermarkets on October 19 along with the rest of Tesco's festive sarnies.
A gin-cured smoked salmon bagel is also on the menu, served with a horseradish crème fraîche dressing and spinach. It costs £3.50.
Unfortunately Tesco's posh sandwiches aren't included in its £3 meal deal so you'll need to fork out extra for a snack and drink.
But there are a handful of Christmas sandwiches that will be available in the offer, including the Boxing Day sub roll which costs £2.30 on its own.
The marmalade soft sub roll is filled with Boxing Day favourites including smoked ham, bubble and squeak and a sprout slaw.
New this year is the Christmas dinner wrap, that comes in a pumpkin tortilla wrap with maple roasted vegetables and a traditional vegetarian stuffing. It costs £2.50.
The brie and cranberry sarnie is back for £2.20 and a new gluten-free version of the festive dinner sarnie cost £2.20 too.
We've asked Tesco how many calories the sandwiches contain and will update this article.
Tesco is not the first to start selling festive foods.
Eagle-eyed shoppers have already spotted festive sarnies at Boots, including flavours such as Turkey, Bacon & Stuffing, Parsnip Fritter & Butternut Squash and Pigs Under Blankets.
